The worlds of Brooklyn New York and
Manhattan which blended through her lineage,
created a unique migration (or escape) route from
the quieter suburban New Jersey landscape of her
earliest years.
Ananda's keen observation of the
natural world, lifestyle diversity and cultural
enrichment, was supported by family weekend
adventures to 'the Big Apple'. As a teenager she
attended weekend art classes at Pratt Institute
(Brooklyn NY) and later earned a BFA degree from
the prestigious Parsons School of Design & New
School for Social Research. This rich period of
artistic study and practice further deepened
through employment opportunities with the
Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art
and Brooklyn University.
Ananda's strong artistic background
now wonderfully feeds into her new-found passion
for photography. In just two short years, she has
done work for: Osmosis Enzyme Bath & Spa
(Freestone, CA), the Sundance Grant winning Turtle
Island Films, Habitat for Humanity (Santa Rosa,
CA), Chicago Corporate Yoga, Living Nutrition
Magazine, Healthful Living International, Synergy
Center for Yoga & Health (Miami Beach, FL), In
The Heart of The Awakened Conference (Mt. Shasta,
CA), Harmony Festival Art Team, CD &
promotional images for Shimshai, Roadside Daisy's,
Chris Bramble Band and many other professional and
private clients.
